I have half-way decent copies of their first appearance, but I have no idea where or when they popped up after that. I'd love to read some of those stories, as I love alternate-universe characters. IP: Logged |

Not an archive, per se, but that might make a cool companion to the "Crisis on Multiple Earths" series. IP: Logged |

Their main appearances would be in the Crisis of Multiple Earths tpb surely, especially if they continue to publish further vols of stories from the JLA comic to cover the latter JLA 207-209 & All Star Squadron 14,15 mult-part crossover. And hopefully the JLA archives will get that far eventually ![]() Outside of that their main appearances would include Secret Society of Super-Villains # 13&14 which had JQ, SW & PR only and DC Comics Presents Annual # 1 an Earth 3 based story with just Ultraman with both E1 and E2 Supermen and Luthors from all 3 earths. You did have the appearance by other Earth 3 charactors in things such as Justice League Quarterly #8. The JLA: Earth 2 graphic novel by Grant Morrison, reintroduced the original 5 charactors into the modern DC universe and Ultraman for example has made some appearances in Superman. IP: Logged |

The Modern Age Ultraman (eventually with Superwoman and Owlman) were in Adventures of Superman 603-605 (or thereabouts; I think I'm pretty close....) And I've always been a fan of these characters as well.... ------------------ IP: Logged |

I don't have a comprehensive list of Crime Syndicate appearances, but there aren't that many. They were first in the JLA/JSA teamup in J. L. of A. 29/30. At the end of that, they were imprisoned between dimensions. Some of them escaped and appeared in Secret Society of Super Villains in the 1970s. Ultra-man appeared in DC Comics Presents Annual #1 (1982), which had the Earth-1 Superman team up with the Earth-2 Superman and the Earth-3 Luthor--when that Luthor became the first super hero on Earth 3. Then Per Degaton released the Crime Syndicate from their energy bubble prison in the big crossover between All-Star Squadron 25 and 26 and Justice League of America 207 and 208. The died in Crisis on Infinite Earths trying to defend Earth-3 from the anti-matter wave. Post-crisis appearance in "Earth-2" graphic novel of JLA. IP: Logged |

Yup, I knew they were erased by the Crisis, and of course I picked up JLA:Earth-2, but I'll have to look for that All-Star Squadron/JLA crossover..thanks for the info, folks! IP: Logged |
